American Auto-Matrix Announces the Release of Engineering Center 7
Export, Pa: American Auto-Matrix, a Cylon Energy Company and technological innovator in the building automation and controls marketplace, has released the latest installment of their Engineering Center commissioning utility used to program their line of CBLine™ building control products. This update brings with it a focus on reducing project engineering time by providing preconfigured logic routines for common HVAC applications and visual enhancements to improve overall engineering efficiency.
The new Engineering Center 7 (EC7) has a library of macros that have been expanded and enhanced. Macros are shared strategy segments that can be saved and reused to help deliver a more standardized engineered strategy. They are particularly effective for large teams working on one project and, in addition to reducing engineering time, utilizing a standardized proven set of macros can also help improve the quality of strategies overall.
The expanded macro library was key in developing a new extensive library of complete sample applications for heating and AHU systems that can be used as a basis to rapidly develop specific control strategies. Instead of having to develop strategies for these systems, one of the pre-configured applications can be used. As an example, begin with the provided strategy for an Air Handling Unit with heating, cooling and full fresh air then simply edit and adjust it to your project specific requirements. These sample applications pair with graphical templates for the award winning Aspect® building automation system, further reducing engineering time for complete American Auto-Matrix projects.
